Privacy should be part of the experience.
Early-access information
When you join the private-beta list, we collect your full name, normalized email address, request IP address, your confirmation that you are 18 or older, your permission to receive email, and the date, time, consent version, and status of the request. We use this information only to manage early access, protect the signup form from abuse, and send Ashlin product updates or invitations you requested.
We do not use your IP address to look up precise location or VPN status.
We do not sell the list or mix Ashlin's list with another character or brand. Standard short-lived server security logs may also contain technical request information.
Choice and retention
Every promotional message will include an unsubscribe method once email sending begins. You may also ask us to remove your address at any time. Pending, unverified early-access records are reviewed and deleted after 90 days unless you confirm your interest or receive a beta invitation.
Before companion access
A complete product privacy notice will be published before any account, memory, messaging, payment, or customer conversation feature becomes available. It will identify the operator, service providers, retention periods, user rights, and the rules for future conversation memory.
Memory principles
- Remember meaningful details selectively rather than retaining everything forever.
- Show customers the durable memories associated with their account.
- Allow correction and deletion without requiring a support request.
- Use additional safeguards for sensitive details and short retention where appropriate.
- Never mix Ashlin customer memories with another character or brand.
